Elections? Elect of God!

There is a worldwide frenzy going on, who will be the next most powerful man on Earth? What does that mean to me?

The most powerful man who ever roamed the Earth was Jesus and today He still holds the same power.  I trust Him to hold me when the walls crumble.

Many are the walls that man build to keep the danger out, or the ones that we build ourselves to hide our innermost fears.  The worst one is The wall that keeps HIM out of reach and that one, we may have erected ourselves.

We are called to be the elect of God so our final destination is Heaven.  Whoever may win the elections but my dear fellow elect of the Highest, Jesus is our King!  Amen!

Mother , Mom, Mommy

The different names we call our special woman who sacrifices her time, her days, and her life to make sure that her children do not lack.  Do not lack love, guidance, or maybe just a touch of warmth.

What do the children do then when this lady is removed from their lives?  No time to prepare, no time to actually grieve as we live in a society where work or workplace takes up almost a third of our lives.  Worst still if the place of work has a toxic environment where grieving has to be limited and extensions to the grieving process may be considered as being irresponsible or not being a team player even!

What have we become?  Are we the new AI age humans where we have allowed ourselves to lose the right to mourn because the team may think of us as weaklings?  Or are we just passing by and no caring what the next person is feeling?  We pretend to care when we read of sad stories in the papers but could be absolutely blind to the silent sufferer seated just next to us!

We pretend to care for world peace and equality but turn a blind eye to wiping the tears that fall from the eyes of people around us.

I experienced this cold cruel behavior when my mom passed.  The basic given compassionate leave of three days is what the time frame I was supposed to have grieved.  Beyond that, I am playing.  Playing what?  Pray tell?  Is there a grief manual that I missed?  Or am I correct to say that people are generally cruel?

    You tell me..........................
